English feed: feeds.feedburner.com/TracesOfChaosEnglish

I don’t know how many of you read this page over RSS or Atom, but if you do you might have recognized a recent change in the feed address: This page is now using feedburner in the backend. You find both urls above and all previous feeds should be re-directed to the new English feed url.

I hope this hasn’t been too much of a inconvience. :) It will be good for the page in the long run. And with the new feed urls you will definitively get the language you want.

John’s Comissions: Andrea, Sketches 2

It took too long, but I really like how it turned out.

trarr.net now updates on Sunday!

Due certain circumstances in my live - like a painful lack of internet access at home - the upate day has to be moved to Sunday. There’s simply no guarantee that I’ll be able to upload files during the week, be it for the blog or the comic.

Yeah, my mind hasn’t grasped that esoteric and elusive concept of “buffer” yet. It’s so… scary.

And if I’ve calculated right, that whole hiatus thing made you miss out 17 updates of ToC. There will be a double update every once a while until the comic caught up to where it should be.

See you!.

John’s Comissions: Andrea, Sketches 2

John’s Andrea

First Version

Aaaaaaaand we’re back!

I finished that fucking thesis that kept me busy the last half year and now I’ve got time to draw and write and PLAY VIDEOGAMES again.

Okay, it’s mainly time to work at my job, but you know what I mean. ;)

Sooooo, expect ToC updates and new writings and new art.

See you tomorrow for the new ToC chapter! :D

Comic restart delayed.

*sighs*

I really hate to do this to you, but we’ve gotta wait another 3 weeks for me to start updating again. Needless to say, there’s university trouble I’ve gotta fix right now. I don’t even have the time to do filler these days.

Can anyone bring me in contact with skilled assessins? There’s a certain Mr. Murphy I need to get shot.

“Writing Excuses”: Great Podcasts on Writing

This is just a link I wanted to share with you all, namely Writing Excuses. Because if you want to write a good webcomic, you better learn the basics of writing.

Writing Excuses is a series of podcasts, each around 15 mins long, all about different aspects of writing. The speakers are writers themselves, even if I only know Howard Tayler of Schlock Mercanary fame. They know what they’re talking about.

The best is? Those three guys actually speak clearly. I’ve got trouble understanding many English podcasts, simply because the speaker is talks to fast or mumbles or s/he forgets that understanding spoken English is actually a hard task for most non-native speakers; but these three guys do great.

Check them out, it’s worth it. Start with Episode 16, because THAT contains a very important lesson to everyone of us. ;)

John’s Comissions: Grae, final (?) Sketch

John’s Grae, Face Sketch

I think that’s the first decent male face I’ve ever drawn - that kinda makes up for my inability to draw any other perspective but this one. ;) Still, I’ve gotta fix some proportions issues for the inks, but I like it. :)

Ten minute sketch of a goblin

Sleeping Goblin

I’ve been asked to do this during an RPG session. I do not really like it, but the dungeon master wants it. You do not piss of the DM. ;)
